Description from the author:
The animation is made 100% with motion capture. I used two Xbox Kinect cameras with the trial version of the iPiSoft Motion Capture Studio. The experience with iPisoft software was really satisfying, in fact there was no need to correct the animation with any additional 3D software, since it was already very realistic. I imported the mocap (fbx) output files in "Unity3D", where I set up the various 3D elements: character/dancer, environment, shading and dynamic lighting. Using a built-in plugin I was able to render the animation with different camera positions and movements. I edited the rendered files with the music, using "Kdenlive" video editing software.
The video is a "proof of concept" for a dance-simulation video game I am developing.
